Company Description: 

Founded in 2010 and comprised of over 20 electrical technical experts, EnerOptim's team is recognized in North America for its specialized services in energy production and industrial process transformation. Excelling in providing solutions tailored to its clients' needs, our team offers services in rotating machinery, power systems, automation, and process control. 

Your Mission: 

As an active member in the evolution of our organization, you will be a key player in the development of our testing and commissioning department. Supported by EnerOptim's project teams, you will also be responsible for ensuring the availability of our clients' energy production equipment. In various assignments, you will perform Factory Acceptance Tests (VPO), testing activities, and commissioning for different projects in hydroelectric, cogeneration, and wind energy. 

Location: Saint-Bruno or Quebec office with regular travel. 

Main Responsibilities and Challenges: 

  • Contribute to the development of testing, VPO, and commissioning procedures. 
  • Conduct testing activities and VPO at client sites. 
  • Assist clients with commissioning in production plants. 
  • Act as a leader and promote Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules during various assignments. 
  • Provide the required technical support to clients in collaboration with EnerOptim's project teams. 
  • Support clients in equipment monitoring to ensure optimal availability. 
  • Document various procedures and test results. 
  • Maintain good relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Your Profile: 

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. 
  • Have good HSE skills. 
  • Possess excellent English language skills, both oral and written. 
  • Have flexibility in terms of travel and on-site work (available for 14/14 and 7/7 rotations). 
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a car (Mandatory). 
  • Hold a Canadian passport (Mandatory). 
  • Have strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in providing solutions. 
  • Ability to work on more than one assignment simultaneously. 
  • Possess ease in managing teams, subcontractors, etc. 
  • Comfortable interacting with colleagues. 
  • Demonstrate initiative and autonomy. 
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in commissioning (startup of turbine-generator, slowdown tests, PDA analyses, etc.) (Asset).

  • Possess a valid driver's license and a car (Mandatory).
  • Hold a Canadian passport (Mandatory).
  • Have strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
